چکیده
Post-anthesis drought affects wheat production worldwide, primarily through the limitation of grain filling. The enhanced remobilization stem reserves induced by can provide considerable carbon sources for aim this study, which was part an ongoing wheat-breeding program targeting tolerance, to assess ability 20 contrasting common genotypes (2 cultivars, 8 F6:7 families (FAM), and 10 parent (PAR) used make families) remobilize dry matter under water-stressed conditions simulated via defoliation days after anthesis, estimate contribution weight. In two-year field trials, were scored agro-physiological peduncle morpho-anatomical traits. Stem reserve weight per spike significantly in defoliated plants but did not differ amongst groups genotypes. had higher grain-filling rate 1000-grain without improvement compared with parental groups. total area chlorenchyma, phloem-area-related traits, positively associated defoliation, whilst both treatments, determined height. These results imply that is a trait desirable tolerance be improved during breeding process.

Effects of post-anthesis heat stress and nitrogen levels on grain yield in wheat (T. durum and T. aestivum) genotypes
In order to study the effects of post-anthesis heat stress and nitrogen levels on grain yield and yield components of wheat genotypes, two separate field experiments were conducted in delayed and optimum sowing dates under Ahvaz conditions (2006-2007). The Ahvaz site located in south west of Iran (32°20' N, 40°20' E) with subtropical climate condition. The experiment site had a moderate w...

In order to evaluate the productivity potential of some bread wheat varieties and promising lines under no-till rainfed condition two different on-farm trials were conducted in cold (Sonqor) and warm (Sarpol-e Zahab) regions of Kermanshah province during 2017-18 cropping season. In the cold condition, 12 winter genotypes and in the warm condition 32 spring genotypes were evaluated for grain ...

drought stress as the most important abiotic stress plays a significant role in reduction of crops yield. this study was conducted at six agricultural experimental stations (karadj, ardebil, arak, mashhad, jolgerokh and miandoab) during 2006-08 cropping seasons. experiments were carried out under normal irrigation and post-anthesis drought stress conditions using 18 wheat genotypes. experimenta...

In order to study the inheritance of some traits related to grain yield in drought stress conditions in bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), F2, F3 and F4 generations derived from a Kharchia (tolerant) × Gaspard (susceptible) cross and their parents were used separately in a complete randomized block design with two replications. Stem length, biological yield, main spike straw weight, total spik...

For identification of correlations and relations among different traits in bread wheat, 30 genotypes were investigated based on a split plot experiment in the form of randomized complete block design with three replications under normal and moisture stress conditions during the 2016-2017 crop season. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the effect of genotypes was significant for...
